ITS BEGINNING TO FEEL…

12 hour Elf marathon, setting up the Christmas tree, sweet treats, paper snowflakes. Its defiantly starting to feel like the holidays. Last year around the holidays I was feeling lost, I had an unplanned shift in my travels and I wasn’t sure where I was heading. This year I am excited. I have so many big plans for ART MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND and I feel confident in myself and my art as I work towards my goals.

Here are some of my goals for the season. Daily blogs. I started writing these blogs as a way to help people further connect to my art, either by sharing about the materials and techniques I used, or the deeper feelings and meanings behind my work. The blog is also a great accountability tool for myself. Being intentional and taking time to think and write about my art. my next goal is growing my audience. I want more people to see my work. Putting myself and my art out there, both on the internet and at in person events, is still something I am learning about. It can feel vulnerable and a little scary, but I know its one of the most important things for me to do as an emerging artist. My last goal is to continue to exercise my creativity with joy and excitement. Continuing to love the creative process, playing with my materials and making things that excite me and make me proud.
